Get it.
This a great amp. It's everything Behringer says it is. Clean output, light weight, cool operation. What more could you want? It's new so longevity is the next thing. I have been using Behringer products for several years and have never had an issue with any of their products. You can't loose with this or any of the iNUKE amps.

Nice Class-D Amp with manufacturing quality and fan issues
I bought this amp to replace a heavy Mackie M14000i that I got tired of lugging around. The weight difference is fantastic. Sounds fine and runs cool. When I received this amp and took it out of the shipping box, there was something rattling around inside the amp (never good). I took the cover off to find that the air dam for the fan had come loose (it was lightly held in place with an adhesive strip). With the cover off, I had a look around. Nicely designed main circuit board, but... two huge issues caught my attention:1) There was a glob of splattered solder on top of the board. I picked it up with a wet q-tip, but on a board full of tiny surface mount components, this is a recipe for long term problems when it gets loose and shorts some component out.2) The engineers were nice enough to put connectors on the two things that often need servicing: the fan and the front panel, but some idiot though it would be a great idea to cover these connectors with globs of glue!?!?!? making them non repairable / non serviceable. So I fired up this amp for the first time, and it is NOISY (the fan that is). Behringer claims that the fan is speed controlled, but is sounds like it running full tilt when the amp is ice cold. I had to put a DVM on the fan to verify that indeed it was running at 7.5V (out of 12V max) when cold. The fan is considerably louder than the Mackie, and is noticeable from 20-30' away even with background music playing.I've been using it for about a week now with various speaker configurations. The amp seems happiest at low impedances (2-4 ohms). I don't run that much power typically (150W per side into 2.6 ohms) and the amp never seems to get warm.Pros:Great priceLight weightRuns cool for moderate wattage in 2 ohmsbuiltin hi pass / low pass filters are handyCons:Manufacturing / Servicing issuesNOISY!!!!Aesthetics: bright orange rings with a silver faceplate - yuck! Pro equipment should be black.Other:Wish it had the old Tapco feature where you could limit the output power to match your speaker system

Avoid these Behringer Amps - Messed Up
Bought two of these amps - returned the first one and now returning the second one. You plug your XLR input into channel A however it plays out of channel B. Tried calling Behringer for support and no one picked up during regular business hours and tried again and it was disconnected. Terrible terrible terrible

The housing and the face cover seems like it could break easily
It is a class D amplifier. It doesn’t put out 1000w, don’t push your luck to reach its capacity. The housing and the face cover seems like it could break easily. This is more for home sound system. You get what you paid for.

Great little light weight rack amp with power to spare.
My old Nady amp blew up So I was looking for a moderately priced replacement for my small home studio/Dj rig. All I can say is WOW! So much lighter in weight than the old gear and at least twice the power. Seriously weighs about as much as my laptop. I've used Behringer speakers with much satisfaction for years and have every reason to believe this amp Will serve my needs just as well. Clean clear signal throughout the power range. Runs very cool compared to the old amp as well.

Powers it really good, clean solid bass
This does roughly 690 watts rms at 4 ohms, per video by BigDwiz on youtube, so I bought it to power my AV123 HFW-15 when it's amp died. Powers it really good, clean solid bass.CON: the fan sounds like turbines and wasn't useable in a home theater setting ( these are made for pa systems so, that isn't anything to knock a star off for) I replaced the fan with a nautica ultra quite fan and now it's not an issue and still remains cool to the touch even when pushed hard for hours.

I love Behringer products
Let me preface by stating that "I have several Behringer products and have found them all extremely reliable." Four stars because it seems a bit under powered. I am using the NU1000 to run my stage monitors. I needed something that was 2ohm stable and this lightweight beauty was just the ticket. I was going to order the NU3000 but with the power issue I will probably order the Nu6000 instead. For the money, this is a great purchase.
