SkyCo 3.5 Channel Missile Shooting RC Helicopter RTF with Six Missiles Rapid fire (Colors May Vary)

I purchased two of these for a 6 and 11 year old. After many flights and many crashes amongst all of us, they ahve held together very well. There a great design idea incorporated into the blades that acts like a crash sensor when you run into something. It cuts off power to the blades when it hits something and doesn't turn back on until you've dropped throttle down. This has likely prevented a lot of possible breakage on the copters. The only gripe I've got is with the missles. The single fire button has quit out on us after about two weeks. No big deal, full auto works great. It is a little difficult at first to get the hang of when it comes to flight. "Hovering" isn't going to happen. You'll always be on a slow ascent or descent to make due. When loaded down with missles, it'll have a tendency to move forward during flight.I highly recommend reading the instruction manual for laughs. It's translated from some form of Chinese that sounds like it was translated by a 1st year English student from a Chinese guy yelling down a hall what to write.

I have only used this rocket shooter version once, it linked right up with the transmitter and flew really well in the living room..the Kids love to see it shoot at them.. it's rockets are so small and light, as long as you are not aiming up close or at a face, it's harmless BUT the real problem is in finding those little tiny red rockets later.. they fly into corners and are really hard to find. That's my only concern..On the other hand, water is a better/cheaper source of ammo and if you don't mis-place the filler squirt bottle.. it's hard to run out of water..so I gave the water gun version 5 stars.. My Grandson was tickled to receive this as a gift, but I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't a bit larger in size. I really can't remember if the info on it stated the size, but if it did, it didn't jump out at me and say....wait a minute...this is much smaller than I thought it would be. I have yet to see it fly but he was happy, so that is what counts.

Unfortunately they are true. The batterie lasts about two minutes with mine. After about 50 seconds of being able to fly higher then say 6ft, the motors heat up and I lose elevation .The remaining batterie life I can only get up about half a foot from the ground.I had no issues with the firing mechanism, and liked the design . It was fun for a minute but I asked for a refund.I say pas on this one and spend some money for a good one that will last longer.

Though I returned this helo I still give it a decent rating. It is a beautiful helo. Great shinning color scheme. I did not fire the missiles because I wanted to test flight it first several times. About the third test flight (I usually only do two test flights and then I keep it if there is no indication of trouble) it became unresponsive to the controller. To bad! I really wanted to keep this one. I still would recommend it to someone. I will buy another in the future.

This some kind of joke right?It fires one missile without crashing, and then refuses to fire any more missiles, and it just does a buzzing/jammed noise on its mounted gun.After waiting 4 days for it to be shipped, the seller finally complies, and I'm happy that he finally agrees to mail it.Now I recieve it and it flies quite nicely.Very agile heli, very fun.Of course.... the gun only works for 1 shot, and it will not shoot anymore. Its gun just buzzes lifelessly.How did this product get past the testing/factory facility?Oh well, I paid 20$ for this, I might as well try to enjoy it. At least it FLIES, so I somewhat got what I paid for, but losing the main gun feature is a total buzzkill.

Updated - it appears it was not charged enough because it works great now! Son has been playing with it for 6 months & loves itWe bought this for my son's birthday & did not try it out for awhile. It does not work right. It doesn't always go when you press the controls, sometimes it goes, & sometimes it is a long delay before it responds. We are past the 30 day return policy. It would be fun if it worked but now we are out a lot of money.

This heli is a turd. I've owned alot of these remote copters mostly the Syma 109 in some form or another, the Syma is indestructible. I would say I flew this towice and after taking a mild tumble the rotors are wobbly and it won't fly straight. Assuming you don't crash it alot; it is a very stable platform and fun to fly. Again, don't crash!
