Quality brand, quality product
one of the very few 5 star products I've purchased on here. I use these every day. They fit comfortable, sound great, and have a long battery life. Only trouble is that the noise cancelling can make you miss things happening around you, like the phone ringing or doorbell. So make sure you turn that feature off (simple toggle switch on left headphone) if you are expecting a call. Also can be paired with your phone, Alexa, tablet, etc very easily. They are a bit bulking for walking town around or jogging, but perfect for at home use.**** update: after about 9 months of pretty regular use, the battery just drops dead after an hour or less without any low battery warnings like it used to give. the battery check says "fully charged" just before this happens. so, need a replacement battery for about $16 found on Amazon. I would typically charge the headphones once every week or two, so this seems like the battery wore out without performing very many recharges. disappointing life span.

Very solid noise-cancelling headphones
These are very comfortable headphones with great sound quality. Battery life is amazing and and charging them takes very little time. Noise-cancellation is excellent and the best I've tried. I do like the motion of cupping your right earcup to remove NC so that I don't have to take the headphones off but you also can disable NC via button or through their app. You can also control the amount of noise cancellation through the app but I usually just keep NC at max. The only negatives which is a very small deal in my eyes is that I would prefer buttons over the swiping movements as the gestures may not register correctly and the mic is not the best for phone calls. I don't use any assistants so YMMV on that.

Great headphones!
I purchased Bose QC series 2 and ended up returning them because of problems. Decided to try Sony and the Sony is much better than Bose. The noise cancelling is much better, sound is marginally better. My only complaint is that they are very hot when worn for any length of time. But, I strongly recommend Sony over Bose in this case. The extras are a nice touch but personally, I found the extra case to be way too large to use (the headphones come with a good case) and the headphone stand is useless. You may have need for one or both but I don't. I do appreciate the attempt though!

Compare WH1000XM3/B Vs. PXC 550
Comfortable headphones with great sound quality. Battery life is amazing and and takes little time to charge. Noise-cancellation is Okay. Headphone is light. One thing needs to be improve is the power turns off when take it off like PXC 550. Volume control also goes PXC 550.

Very nice headphones, but missing features and glaring issues are ridiculous at this price point.
PROs:Sound great.Noise cancellation is decentThey are light and comfortable to wear all dayBattery life is excellent, 8 hours of use drops from 100% down to 80%.Charges fast, a 15 minute charge will get you through an 8 hour day.CONS:1. There's no mute feature, so if you're in a meeting and have to cough, you have to mute the meeting instead of just tapping the headset.2. There's no auto shut off, if you forget to turn them off expect them to be dead in the morning the next time you need them.3. The touch pad for volume up/down leaves a lot to be desired (buttons would have been the smarter choice). swiping up or down only works half the time, and the other half it either doesn't do anything, or it does the opposite of what you want (4 volume up swipes, regularly performs 2 up and 2 down leaving the volume unchanged)4. Can't switch between computer and phone quickly or easily (have to pair again each time).SUMMARY: When you're paying $300+ for headphones, you shouldn't have ANY issues.

WOW, the best thing since sliced bread!
The one feature I like best about these is the option to use them wired at work where I cannot have any wireless connections turned on at my desk. Then, I can take them with me on trips traveling and have all the benefits of the wireless and noise cancelling. Just fantastic all around headphones. I have a Sony sound system in my home and it has been reliable for 10+ years now so I have no doubts about the quality of these headphones. 100% worth the money since I wear them for 9 hours a day, 5 days a week.

if i had to nitpick
I wish it could connect to 2 devices. Also i prefer buttons. the smooth pad needs to improve on its touch sensations. That said its sounds amazing, and the noise cancellation is strong AF. Ask my wife. I dont know what shes been yelling at me but i imagine it has to do something with me not listening and I owe it all to these headphones.
