Mesh upper with synthetic overlays and films provides great stability, comfort and breathability on forefoot. Wider heel cage provides better stability on rear foot. Large area of mesh upper helps to reduce weight and gives more breathability.

These are NOT Gel Resolution 7s...
I cannot believe Asics would have 2 similarly named Shoes. These are far inferior to the Gel 7 Shoes so I returned them. Probably OK for walking around or occasional tennis player but not enough support to wear when you are pushing for each point. Be aware these are NOT the shoes you think they are...

Match made in heaven
I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas to replace the nasty old ones he has been wearing since high school (and he’s in his mid-20s playing rigorous matches every week for the last nine years or so). Although he made quite a RAQUET claiming to miss the ventilation that came with having two-inch holes in the soles of the previous pair, he says these shoes are very comfortable and fit his feet well. They were a little snug at first because he is wide-footed, but once he broke them in they were perfect. Definitely worth the money and now he doesn’t complain about sliding all over the tennis court or getting wet sock walking through freshly-watered grass.

Female, but ordered men's ASICS.
I wanted RED! They don't make them in women's. I highly recommend, if you find ASICS in men's in the colors you love and don't see them in the women's sizes, just GOOGLE men's size/women's size and order the men's shoes. To note, I do have a wide foot, so men's fit perfectly. I don't think they are any heavier than all my women's ASICS.LOVE THESE SHOES, and they are unique because you don't see them at the women's tennis matches. I have one friend who does same, and has great luck getting the shoe she wants in men's size.

Regular tennis shoes
The first attempt was not as successful as I expected. However, I am giving it a second chance. (therefore one more star is added)The first pair lasted only 1.5-2 months. (Actually, I purchased it exactly two months ago)It did not surprise me too much since high-end Adidas/Nike models do not last long for me as well, but there you get a second pair under a 6-month warranty.Let's see how the second pair will work.I do not see any advantage since it is possible to get 6-month warranty tennis shoes for under $100The only good thing I do not need to send it back to get a second pair.I just have to buy a new one.The traction on the hard court is decent. However, it fades out as you use them.

Not a good tennis shoe.
Not a good tennis shoe. Very tight at the toes, it actually scrapped the skin of my 3 toes after using it just one tine. Shoe sole very rights, feels very uncomfortable, feels like dragging weight while shuffling on court. Will NOT shut ever again.

Great Shoes for the price
I don't play tennis that often, but these shoes so far have been great. Came ready to go with minimal need to break in and after a hand full of sessions, they have yet to cause any blisters or pain. I'm normally a Price or Nike guy, but these may have swayed me. Both Prince and Nike at this price point are garbage and rarely last half a season. These shoes seem to be made with better quality and are far more comfortable than anything I've previously used. I'd say the only draw back is they are a little narrow, but this probably has more to due with my feet than how the actual shoe design.10/10 i'd recommend these to anyone looking for decent mid/low cost shoes.

WHY I LOVE ASICS!
Comfy, light weight, stylish... that is what I think when I think of ASICS and that is why I will continue to add more of these great shoes to my collection. I’ve always loved ASICS and these shoes didn’t let me down. Highly recommend. I use them when I work out at the gym

Great shoe, if not inexpensive.
My podiatrist recommended Asics, so I thought I'd try a pair when my New Balances wore thin. I really like the shoes better than any others I've had, and I've been wearing tennis shoes for more than 60 years. That said, I've been buying good shoes in the $55 range for years. Going up to $80 was a leap of faith, but I'm happy I did. I move pretty well for a geezer, and even better now.

Not a fan , the first day played less than an hour, bottom of my feet was killing me , had to buy and change the sole right away.

Self pay return! Beware.
These shoes fit was too narrow, even though the description states “wider heel cage” Even after contacting customer service at the Racket Guys to advise that I would order a larger pair they refused to pay for the return shipping. It cost me $15.58 to return them! Total waste of my money 😡 I will never buy from this supplier again.I suggest using a better supplier with free returns.
