OtterBox Defender Series Case for Moto G 1st Generation - Retail Packaging - Glacier

Bought this for my husbands phone as he has a manual job and his phone could be damaged in his pocket.First impressions weren't too good. This case adds a LOT of bulk to the phone and is quite ugly but he reasoned that if the phone was protected it didn't matter.Within 2 months the phone has a crack running right across the screen despite never being out of the case or being dropped.The case also doesn't stop dust getting to the microphone or other ports as I thought it would do.its a lot of money to pay for a case which still allows a phone screen to be cracked and for this reason i wouldn't recommend.

Works exactly as advertised. This is a fairly chunky protective case with a hard inner and flexible outer shell. Together they fit into an optional belt clip that also protects the front of the phone. Top tip: when assembling the inner shell on to the phone, make sure that the inside of the clear screen protector is completely free of dust and finger marks as dismantling it to clean it is a bit of a pain!This is a substantial case that should protect your phone from most accidents except total immersion in water. As such it increases the thickness of a phone (Moto g in my case) by more than double making it less easy to slip into a pocket than the single shell cases.

The best. Fits like a glove. Turns the rather skinny and feeble but great Moto G into a beast. Don't bulk at the price, the peace of mind is well worth it. Immediately felt I could use the phone without protecting it. Proper engineering and build quality.One minor issue is the balance when using the belt clip as a stand. Would probably wobble if used on a train etc.

A cracking product and after a fair few knocks not once has it cracked. I can honestly say that it has paid for itself many times over in saving me money for phone repairs/replacements and the inconvenience of arranging the repairs. Handy clip on the back which not only attaches the unit securely to your belt but can also provide an anchor point in a number of places.

Extremely tough little case, excellent build quality, easy to assemble, strongly advise cleaning the phone screen thoroughly before fitting the case.

yup, does what's required pretty well. not as difficult to attach and detach as i was led to believe.pricier than other cases but worth it in my eyes.. not dropped the phone yet but you get a damn fine grip on it in the first place, so maybe without this case, i already would have. i imagine if and when i do drop it, the phone will stand a good chance of surviving.it does increase the size of phone considerably, but i'd rather that than be juggling a wet fish that could shatter.

Perfectly fitting quality case which provides real protection for the phone - unlike some other brands which just look as though theydo.Some may not like the bulk of the phone when the case is attached but It's perfect for me - the bare phone felt small, slippery and very delicate.

Per quanto mi riguarda è molto comoda anche nell'uso quotidiano.Dà grande senso di sicurezza e veste il Motorola Moto G in modo perfetto.I pulsanti di spegnimento e volume funzionano benissimo e le due feritoie per l'accesso al jack audio o alla porta usb non sono solo comode ma permettono anche l'accesso di una penna usb con adattatore micro usb.La pellicola compresa nella custodia non compromette in nessun modo nè l'uso del touch e neppure la fruibilità dello schermo.Il microfono non subisce smorzamenti, fotocamera e flash non sono compromessi, perfetto anche il vivavoce.

Ho acquistato questa custodia di massima protezione per utilizzare il Moto G come GPS per la MTB e direi che svolge perfettamente il suo dovere. Unico neo è il peso e la dimensione, ma fissato sul manubrio della MTB non da grandi problemi. Un consiglio per chi volesse utilizzarlo in questo modo, comprate un attacco Garmin adesivo.

This case fits my original Moto G phone perfectly. The cut outs are very precise, the grip is perfect, and it even slips in and out of the cell phone pocket in my purse easily. I haven't tried dropping my phone yet, but I witnessed my friend's phone drop from 4 feet onto a hard floor, and the phone is fine (she was using the Otterbox defender also). This also comes with a screen protector, and a belt clip (which I am not using currently).

Absolutely wonderful. Now that I have tried Otterbox, I will never go back to lesser phone cases. And this one was a real bargain as well. Looks good, feels good in my hand, and it makes my phone almost unbreakable. Have dropped it a few times and it was fully protected.

The OtterBox fits this phone perfectly. It is the best protection by far and still allows good access to the touch screen. I work in as a drywall finisher and it keeps mud and dust off my phone. It does not interfere with the touch screen or making voice calls. The belt clip is perfect with the 360 degree swivel. The phone is relatively easy to get out of the case to clean any small particles that may get inside.

Bought this for my old phone when I handed it down to my son. Love this case. Covers screen & ports. He likes the belt clip. Definitely feels safe. I wish i could get one just like it for my new phone.

Diesen Winter hatte ich beim Eiskratzen mein Handy aufs Autodach gelegt- wieso weiss ich auch nicht. Habe es dort vergessen und bin knappe 2 km gefahren als es ploetzlich in der Kurve beim Abbiegen auf die Strasse flog. Dank Otterbox war NIX dran kaputt oder zerkratzt !Die Schutzhuelle macht das schlanke duenne Handy zwar etwas bulky, aber fuer mich als kleiner Schussel einfach nur empfehlendswert!Wuerde es wieder kaufen, falls das jetzige Handy jemals kaputt gehen sollte :-)

Otterbox schützt bis heute mein Handy prima. Ist aber insgesamt ziemlich kompakt und das Handy wird globig, geht nicht in die Po-Hosentasche.

Wish it'd stated which version of the Moto G product it was for - certainly didn't fit the current 3rd gen.

I love my case. It protects my phone to the highest degree of protection. I have already dropped it from my car and onto the road. The plastic protecting the front got a little scratch but other than that, everything was spotless. The only thing I don't like about this case is the bulkiness but that's what you would expect from a very protective phone case.

Dimensioni un po piu' grandi di quelle che mi aspettavo.Il telefonino e' ben protetto ma purtroppo ci rimette il peso.Portare in giro il telefonino con questa custodia e' molto fastidioso.Se lo utilizzate e lo rimettete in una borsa o lo lasciate sempre in auto questa cover e' perfetta,ma purtroppo non puo dirsi quando il telefonino lo si mette in una tasca di un jeans.

Pro:Die hülle ist sehr gut verarbeitet.Macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck.Durch die extra scheibe ist das Handy optimal geschützt.Contra.Das Handy wird sehr dick.Das Handy ist schlecht aus dem Halfter zu bekommen da es an an 2 Seiten oben und unten geklemmt wird und keine extra Verrieglung hat.Ich kann die hülle nur empfehlen da sie jeden Tag auf dem Bau aushält und das Handy sehr gut schützt.
