My Little Pony Chutes and Ladders Game

This is so cute. My seven year old has made me play this with her a billion times and I'm glad I got it. It's a nice throwback to my childhood, but with the added bonus of MLP theme. Definitely fun and a good idea for some quiet fun indoors.

Excellent version of a classic board game. Sure to please any MLP fan! The game board and pieces are well made. My niece is 4 and this game should provide indoor fun on rainy days for many years to come. The kids all love it!

My kiddo loves this game! It's got a very bright and colorful board, full of all of the My Little Ponies characters that she loves so much. The little spinner wheel is great for tiny hands, and she likes to spin it again and again (and again and again!). The little characters that come with it are almost exactly like the miniature collectible ponies that can be purchased in the stores. My only gripe with this is that the removable rainbows (that serve as a jump-space if you land on them and flip the little cardboard "coin" to the green side) don't stay placed very well. Probably nothing that a piece of tape wrapped around the peg wouldn't fix, to kind of snug it up a little bit - but other than that, I have no complaints. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in the market for something like this!

Daughter is completely in love with this colorful, interesting and addicting game. We played several rounds non-stop and if it wasn't for bed time, we would've played more!

It was advertised as new. It was used. I know it was used because all the part were put together and a name was written in the box. It was a gift for my daughters birthday. She was disappointed it was not new, but still wanted the game.

It is an alright version and it was cheaper than the original, but it has some flaws. The ponies don't stand up well at all and they're larger than the spaces so it's hard to tell exactly where you are on the board. The board itself has little lessons built into the chutes and ladders which is nice. For example, there is a photo of a pony studying at the bottom of a ladder and her getting an A at the top. Some of these lessons seem a bit off though. One of them is waking a sleeping cat which sends you nearly back to the beginning yet drawing on the wall only sets you back 4 spots. Seems like those two ought to be switched. The board is also quite busy and the numbers and direction arrows dont stand out much. All in all I think it's a decent game for the price, but had they cost the same I'd have chosen the original.

I don't know why the toy cos can't just leave good things alone (okay, I know why - $$$$ - but still). This is "classic" chutes and ladders except with My Little Pony. Problems are that the ponies themselves fall over every second b/c they're on hind-legs and lightweight, cheap plastic, and there are silly "rainbows" that you're supposed to stand on the board to give the players another option (i.e., to ride the rainbow in addition to a chute or ladder). I wish I had the version I owned when I was a kid b/c this is flimsy and cheap looking (and much smaller) than the old days. It's unbelievable how they cut corners these days. So sad.

My daughter loves this game. Very appealing to youngsters as its bright and busy. The figures are very nice and solid and it's quite easy to play. The only downside is the squares are different shades of green and it can be hard to tell which one you're supposed to be on. But a very good game nonetheless.

Leiterspiel kennt ja jeder und es macht Spaß :) noch mehr Freude haben meine kleinen Mäuse daran weil es von my little pony ist. Da wir ein paar sammelfiguren noch haben können wir es mit mehr als nur zu dritt spielen :)

Wir haben das Spiel für unsere 7 jährige Tochter gekauft, weil sie derzeit ein absoluter Fan von "My little Pony" ist. Anspruchvolle Spiele mag sie nicht so sehr... sie liebt lieber die einfachen Klassiker. Da kam uns das Leiterspiel gerade recht. Als wir das Spiel dann auspackten, entdeckten wir irgendwelche Regenbögen und einen Pappdiamanten... mmmh... worauf nun die Frage aufkam "Wie nutzt man diese?" Die Spielregeln für ein Leiterspiel sind ja im grundegenommen immer gleich. Kommt man auf ein Feld mit Leiter, darf man bis zum Feld hochklettern, wo diese endet. Kommt man auf ein Feld mit Rutsche, muss man auf das Feld zurückrutschen, wo die Rutsche hinführt. Nun ja, da es nun noch die Regenbögen und den Diamanten gab, kramten wir die Spielanleitung zum Spiel hervor und sahen, dass diese komplett nur in einer Sprache und zwar auf französisch geschrieben war. Ich habe sie mir dann aus dem französischen übersetzen lassen und wir nutzen die Regenbögen und den Diamanten wie folgt:Grundsätzlich beginnt der jüngste Spieler bei diesem Spiel und die Spieler wechseln sich im Uhrzeigersinn ab. Die Regenbögen plaziert man auf dem Spielbrett an Markierungspunkten (Löchern) vorwiegend am Ende einer Rutsche und dreht sie so, dass das Ende des Regenbogens wiederum auf ein Feld zeigt, auf das man aufsteigen kann. Statt einem Würfel gibt es bei diesem Spiel eine Drehscheibe. Mit der Drehscheibe erdreht man die Zahl, um wieviel Felder das Pony voranschreiten darf. Man hat aber auch die Möglichkeit einen Regenbogen zu erdrehen. Erdreht man statt der Zahl ein Regenbogenfeld, darf das Pony in der aufsteigenden Zahlenfolge bis zum nächsten Regenbogen galoppieren und über den Regenbogen zu dem Feld aufsteigen, wo dieser hinzeigt/endet. (Die Regenbögen dürfen nur auf einem Feld mit aufsteigender Zahlenfolge enden).Setzt ein Spieler sein Pony über einen Regenbogen nach vorn, geht das Spiel nun linksherum weiter. Erdreht man das Regenbogenfeld und es befindet sich auf dem Weg bis zum Ziel vor dem Pony kein Regenbogen mehr, darf man seine Figur nicht weiter setzen, sondern setzt somit die Runde aus. Rutscht man eine Rutsche herab und am Ende der Rutsche beginnt ein Regenbogen, kommt der Pappdiamant zum Einsatz. Dieser hat eine grüne Seite und eine rote Rückseite. Um nun mit dem Pony wiederum über den Regenbogen aufsteigen zu dürfen, muss der Spieler, welcher zurückrutschen musste, den Pappdiamanten in die Luft werfen. Landet er so, dass die grüne Seite sichtbar ist, darf sein Pony über den Regenbogen bis zum Feld voranschreiten, auf dem dieser endet. Landet der Pappdiamant so, dass die rote Seite sichtbar ist, darf sein Pony nicht den Abkürzungsweg über den Regenbogen nehmen, sondern muss bei seinem nächsten Zug regulär der Zahlenreihenfolge auf dem Spielbrett voranschreiten.Gewonnen hat das Pony, dass als erstes das Feld 100 erreicht hat (1. Möglichkeit: wenn man von Feld 80 über die Leiter auf Feld 100 klettern darf, 2. Möglich: wenn man das Ziel durch genaue Punktzahl erreicht- erdreht man eine höhere Zahl als wie Felder zum Ziel vorhanden sind, darf das Pony nicht ins Ziel bewegt werden sondern muss stehen bleiben). Für nicht anspruchsvolle Spieler ist das Spiel recht nett. Zu bemängeln hätte ich, dass die Spielanleitung nur in französisch gedruckt war. Zum anderen verrutschen die Regenbögen ab und an während des Spiels etwas (man sollte sich daher vielleicht auf einen Zettel notieren, auf welchen Feldern man sie platziert hat bzw. auf welchen sie enden). Aber dennoch haben meine Kinder an dem Spiel Freude.

Great game, my 3 year old loves to play this as its her favourite characters. Unfortunately she doesn't like following the rules of the game though and races them around the board making sure she skips afew spaces to win :) she loves it though and keeps her entertained so it gets a thumbs up
