L7 and L9 lightener, does the job
Ok so this is the best lightener I have used, there was one by garnier I think that was pretty good too but I don't think it's being sold anymore. This does contain bleach which I wasn't aware of I thought it was just a hair dye like garniers lightener that had other ingredients in it to lighten so bear that in mind. Like any hair product this is damaging to the hair, my hair wasn't in great condition afterwards but it never is after colouring or lightening, I wouldn't say this damaged my hair any more than what others have though, I used the L7 this time but have used the L9 before when trying to lighten from a darker colour and that damaged it alot more but if you are o only needing it once or twice you can feel treat it afterwards for a while and the hair does get better, my hair was damaged before hand so bear that in mind too, if you have pretty healthy hair once or twice using this won't damage your hair permanently. I had to use twice over a period of two weeks as the first time it didn't lift to yellow blonde it left me with orange roots (with the L7) I started with dark blonde. All of these lift my hair if lifted enough to a very yellow blonde though, using the blue shampoo that comes with it makes no difference to the yellow in my opinion but blue toner is usually used to counteract orange, so i used purple shampoo to try and counteract the yellow afterwards too with no joy, I have nailed it though if I need to use it in future so my advice would be once you have lifted it you should buy a hair dye to go on top of it, I put it on straight afterwards which isn't wise but it worked, an ash blonde if blondes your goal would be best to counteract the brassiness or yellow. Overall this achieves what you need if you can't afford to go to a hair dresser, I don't think the L9 would lift the darkest of colours still though, it would lighten it considerably but if wanting a very light blonde you would probably have to using a colour stripper first which are actually really really good in my opinion, again not great for your hair but if your having a disaster and can't afford the hairdressers its worth doing. Overall good product, hair didn't feel great straight afterwards but it never does with any hair dye, I wouldn't use it all the time though it's much to strong for that, that would damage hair permanently, as a quick fix after a disaster though it does the job but I would do it twice so buy two boxes and make sure you have another hair dye at hand to put over the top, try not to do it straight away but if you have to, do it and then condition like crazy for a week or two

Wow 🤩
As you can see from the pictures, I put the dreaded bleach on my hair about 12 weeks ago, bad idea...anyway the root growth was getting tacky looking and was in dire need of getting rid of it!After reading the reviews I was a bit sceptical, so I did do a patch test to be on the safe side this time, which I would recommend, as soon as I put the colour on it started changing almost instantly, I didn’t do the roots just the bleach part, brushed through and in less than 10 minutes could see an instant change, I decided to rinse it off before it got too dark! The colour is amazing so natural looking and absolutely over the moon!I was totally impressed by the content of the product, you’re getting so much for your money and it smells amazing and super soft..wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again!

Amazing colour
I don't usually write reviews but this is great. I had all beach blonde hair and wanted to create an ombre effect using this medium caramel blonde on the top and leaving the bottom of my hair beach blonde. It worked perfectly, as my hair was so light I knew i needed to keep an eye on it and only left it on for about 15 minutes and it came out like salon ombre hair. Amazing results, anyone who said it went to dark clearly did not keep an eye on the dye everyones hair is different keep an eye in the mirror for the right result for you.

7.0 dark blonde turned my hair mid-brown
Loved the feel of my hair after using. The instructions are easy to follow, comes with gloves. I followed the instructions and the colour was so much darker than expected. I have some greys and had previously used other dark blonde permanent hair dyes but my hair had faded. I used 7.0 dark blonde. It turned out a definite mid brown, solid colour. Quite dull looking. The cover however was excellent and it even held on to the grey! I bought a three pack unfortunately but I’ll use them up just touching up the roots maybe (as the colour holds so well)

Do not buy from this seller
This product arrived fast, but i could see there was something wrong immediately - outside, fine, but inside all the products were covered in grey/black powdery mould, as if stored in an old cellar. The product was also in a form it came in a few years ago - with separate oil that you put into the developer bottle, so these have been stored a long time, and probably well out of date. However, as we are going away later today and I was desperate to cover grey roots, I took a chance. Bad mistake. Possibly due to age or poor storage, rather than caramel blonde it seemed only to have retained the brown pigments in these hair colourants, which normally fade within a couple of weeks to gold. I have never found a colourant which conditions and thickens like Colour Expert, i was upset when they stopped producing and it is only available in a very limited number of outlets so i get it online where I can. I formerly used Medium blonde (8.60), this seemed to be, from the picture, a good alternative. I tried to contact the seller (Beauty Logistics) on the number provided, but you get a very odd message - 'this surgery doesn't have any specialisms set up yet. Goodbye.' - then you get cut off. Have passed to Amazon to sort. I'll get my hair sorted when I get back but thought I'd warn others. The seller should check what they send out, but throw all those old, mouldy boxes out and certainly stop advertising it. I will throw the rest out.

Not purple
I used this on my strawberry blonde hair expecting it to come out purple. It definitely didn’t. It’s a very dark brown with hints of maroon in the sun. I don’t hate the colour but it’s not what I wanted. I will say that it has left my hair in good condition. I only did it on Friday so can’t speak to how well it lasts, but to be honest I might consider it a bonus if it washes out quickly.
