180s Urban Ear Warmer

My older pair of earmuffs were getting a bit worn because I use them so much during the winter. They were very convenient and worked well. I tried this model hoping to find something that was as good as my old pair.These new ones were disappointing. They do work to keep your ears warm but they also block out outside noises. The earmuffs have a dense outer shell. The collar of my coat would rub on the earmuffs and transmit a rubbing/scratching sound through the material. Since the earmuffs blocked out other noises that made the scratching sound much louder than anything else making it very hard to hear anything around you. Now looking for another pair with a fleece outer shell like the ones I bought several years ago.

Simply great. It looks like it will not be warm at all, but it is perfect. Not fuzzy, not heavy, and it is very warm on a guy's ears. I thought it would look goofy, but so far no one has laughed. I know it keeps my ears warm without a bunch of fuzzy stuff around them and that is great.

If you need a quick fix for warm ears, these are for you. However if you need to where these consistently thought the winter, pick a different brand with a softer shell.Does this product keep your ears warm? Yes. That said, there are a few cons. First, the ear covers are huge. Not quite pie plate size, but easily coffee mug. They will cover the entire sides of a normal head. Second, the covering is made out of a rough material - maybe nylon and polyester - that scuffs on coats. As you walk or move your head that sound is pounded right into your skull. Third, the packaging is overkill: these come in a plastic shell. Finally, there's a note on the packaging that says "don't even try it" indicating that every customer night be interested in stealing 180's patents. I love to be presumed a thief by companies I make purchases from.

I bought this 180 earmuff to replace one that I lost. While the old one was nicely sized, this one just barely covers my ears. I do not wear a large hat size, so I believe that this earmuff, even when fully extended would be too small for some adult men. It's a shame that the manufacturer made this item smaller than its predecessor. Perhaps they save a a tenth of a penny in the manufacturing and thought that might add $50 to their bottom line for the year -- certainly not worth the cost to customer loyalty that this sill size reduction cost them.

Really good ear warmers. Very comfortable and warm lining. It's adjustable, but it's a little too small. They advertise as one size fits all, but that can't literally be the case (as it's not for me). It still works great & I wear it, but it would be more comfortable on my head if it could be a little longer.

Not as described. Ordered the "blue" twice and both times received black. Returned the first pair and then reordered only to receive another mislabeled product.(Would love to return the second pair, but fell outside of the return window.)

Got them last night, wore them this morning, best thing ever! I missed them!I've had a few sets of 180s over the years, the solid fleece ones, the quilted ones, even the knock off ones (don't go there). I will never go back to over the head ear muffs. For me, these are just comfy, warm, and simple. Unfortunately I left my two pairs in NYC so it was time for some new ones. These do not slide off my head, even at a jog. Very adjustable; fits me and my girlfriend. Keeps the wind out, which was the main reason for purchasing again. I will spray these with some silicone waterproofing to help if I'm caught in a cold rainstorm.

Horrible small fit. Ended up returning. Would not recommend except for a young child..Even my wife who has a rather small head said that they were uncomfortable.
