Listen pool owners, if you don't know now you know... this is the best pool purchase I have ever made. Not only does the water feel amazing but no more chlorine tabs and VERY little maintenance needed once you get this puppy installed. I used to have to clean the pool throw all sorts of algae chemicals, pool clarifiers, shock etc.. now all I have to do is vacuum the pool. Do yourself a favor and splurge here. It's also made in the USA so its QUALITY!!!

VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD INSTALLATION. MOUNTED MINE VERTICAL BECAUSE OF SPACE LIMITATIONS. SEEMS LIKE ITS ENGINEERED WELL. FLOW SWITCH IS A GOOD THING.I COME FROM A MECHANICAL BACKGROUND, SIMPLICITY RULES.... TITANIUM CELL IS A GOOD THING. I THINK FOR THE MONEY YOU WON'T DO MUCH BETTER. THE WARRANTY IS A DECREASING PERCENTAGE OVER 7 YEARS. FIRST 2 YEARS ARE 100 % PARTS. STILL BETTER THAN MOST......Amazon has best price!11

This is my second salt cell purchase, year ago I had put and intellichlor system in on a previous pool. I purchases this as the shortage of chlorine tablets and the cost has risen so much I decided to convert to salt on the pool that came with the house we recently purchased. Pool is 16 x 32 in-ground oval. Installation was a breeze and today this has been working great. I shopped around and this product offered a better warranty and and was more cost efficient then most other salt cells out there.Sal Cardello

While installing it wasn't hard, getting it to work well was.Its diagnostic lights are pointless and should be ignored while troubleshooting issues.When we first turned this thing on, it complained about 'low salt concentration'. Unlike other brands, this one appears to like slightly higher salt concentrations. We added a few bags of salt until warning light went away, but it barely generated any chlorine. It took an extra 50lbs of salt in a 20,000 gallon pool before it started generating chlorine well.After working great for a few weeks, it stopped generating chlorine completely.There 'clean cell' light did not go off, so we did not know what to do at first.After a few days, we decided to clean our cell anyway, which restored chlorine production levels to their desired level.We now have it set to run at 20% for 16 hours per day which keeps chlorine levels at 3 in a 20,000 gallon pool.'Boost' options successfully shocks the pool by bringing chlorine levels close to 10ppm within 24 hours.

Easy to install and easy to navigate. Good quality, much better than Pentair. Pentair cells last 3-4 years we’ll see how long this will last. Though prorated, it still has warranty unlike Pentair. Good value, nice product, works as intended.

Since the rona happened it’s been hard to find liquid chlorine or bleach. Decided to switch to an SWG. This one was priced right. So far so good. Set to 3 of 8 keeps my pool at 6.5FC which is perfect for my CYA level. The system error light went on shortly after I installed it so I had the occasion to test out tech support. They answered quickly and sent me a secret manual to troubleshoot why the light was on since there’s no alphanumeric display on the box. Was a faulty temp sensor. Decided I didn’t care since my pool isn’t open when the water is below 60 degrees anyway so I haven’t tested their replacement process. Overall very happy with the unit

Unfortunately it is made by Solaxx. Have not had the best experience with their products, cells leaking, cells failing, power supplies failing...

This unit has revolutionized our pool. The maintenance levels have plummeted and the water is crystal clear. Opening the pool took less time this year. If we had known how amazing these are we would have purchased one 12 years ago. Cannot recommend highly enough.
