Review: This book is suffering from an identity crisis - For me, this book is suffering from an identity crisis. It needs to either be a manual, or a resource book, or split into two discrete sections. Although the information contained within the pages of this book is excellent, the way it is, is not very conducive to teaching basic principles and concepts, as too often it dives into overly technical explanations (which could have been developed later on), when a simple introduction to the concept would engage a student rather than losing them at the beginning. Personally, I will copy info from this book and organise it into easier sections for my staff training.

This book is suffering from an identity crisis
For me, this book is suffering from an identity crisis. It needs to either be a manual, or a resource book, or split into two discrete sections. Although the information contained within the pages of this book is excellent, the way it is, is not very conducive to teaching basic principles and concepts, as too often it dives into overly technical explanations (which could have been developed later on), when a simple introduction to the concept would engage a student rather than losing them at the beginning. Personally, I will copy info from this book and organise it into easier sections for my staff training.
