A simple step by step instruction comes with this to help guide you on how to effectively use this. Fill the bottles with regular tap water, shake well, and dye the fabric. Each bottle is clearly labelled to identify each colour. The dyes are non-toxic, tasteless, and safe for the environment.Included in this kit is 36 x 30mL spray bottles, 36 x dye pigments, 152 x rubber bands, 15 x protective gloves, 4 x aprons, 2 x tablecloths, 2 x loophole/ funnels, and 36 x colour stickers.I find that the colours stay bright and vibrant on my clothes for a long period of time even after washing. The packaging is nice and bright, definitely eye-catching.Overall, I find Southsun tie dye kit a good value for money and it is decent quality.

This is the second tie dye kit in aa many weeks I've received for review and test.Its slightly better than the last as though both sets of instructions bear little resemblance to whats received, this one comes with smaller bottles which means though they gave no line on them nor already added dye, theres at least a chance by adding all dye sachet and water to where the line looks like might be on instructions that it might be concentrate enough to take.They say must use in 45 minutes and then chuck.I did use it within this time and did wrap all in plastic and left about 7 hours to set on fabric.I painted fake leaves on the hem areas of some pure white cotton trousers.I found some dyes worked better than others. I used 2 greens for example the plain and the verdant but only the first remained after washing. So this leaves me with little alternative than to give just 2 stars as that would be very sad if you spent ages doing a design then half colours only resulted. Why cannot they actually fill the bottles with due and label them with water level lines? And why dont all the dyes work? Random results here I'm afraid.

My children have had such good fun with this kit.It contains more colours than many – 36. The colours are bright, and the variety of colours is great for experimenting.You also get gloves, elastic bands, aprons and a table cover. I find “proper” (i.e. more expensive) nitrile gloves better to wear – the ones in this pack (like many others) are more like the ones you get at a petrol station (to protect people’s hands from diesel) but they do the job.My children tie dyed T-shirts and pillow cases. They then dyed another T-shirt in a single colour and it looked superb yet cost so little (plain white T-shirts are so cheap on Amazon, as are pillow cases). Please try dying T-shirts in a single colour.If this is a present, you may wish to order T-shirts at the same time, otherwise the children will not be able to use it immediately.

They were a success and he did most of it alone with a little help from me!This is so good, it has everything you need to tye dye..... We did 5 items and there's still a little left, maybe enough for another t shirt!This set comes well presented so would be suitable to give as a gift for anyone into tye dying.Both our grandson and myself can reccomend, it's good value for money and of a decent quality.Easy to use too.

This is a set that is ideal for beginners, or for using with young children for an afternoon project.The set includes all you need apart from the garment or item you want to dye. The dyes come in a good range of colours and they do have a good strength of colour to them.I have used 6 of the colours on an old t-shirt and had great fun. I only mixed up small amounts of the colours as I don't think the colours last well if left mixed.This is a good set for beginners, it has been years since I last did some tie-dying. I am planning on making tie-dyed backgrounds for tote bags. The t-shirt has been washed a couple of times and the dyes are still nice and strong in colour.I like this set and I would happily recommend them.

Jam packed with dyes powders, bottles, funnels, stickers, gloves, tablecloths , elastics everything you need to make some really nice unique dye tie itemsI wanted to review this as my niece is having a sleepover party and thought have lovely for them to have a try but as a reviewer we only have a limited time to review products so will be adding more photos when we have made some prettiness as i have it marked down to doBut all good and pleased i got to review them xx

This is so good, it has loads of colours, way more than any set I’ve ever used. The volume of colours though will just about do two T-shirt’s if using them all, so it won’t last for loads of dyeing. However, if you only pick three colours per dyeing session, it lasts a fair while.I’d recommend watching YouTube tutorials or reading up on how to do it first, as the one thing the set lacks is clear instructions, but as a craft kit, it works well and it’s lots of fun!
