I only place 3 chalk in this to use as handwriting practice for homeschooling our girls. This works perfectly for that use!

Does not hold chalk well. Tends to twist and pull chalk out. Seems cheap and flimsy.

kind of flimsy
This works but the wires are rather flimsy -- twist and turn. They also bend a bit when you put pressure on them to create staffs on chalkboard - this warps the evenness of the lines somewhat.Not sure that there is anything out there that is better....

Good for the Price
I like the item. It does not work perfect, because the chalk doesn't stay in place. I had to tape them. Yet, with a little pressure it makes nice lines on the chalk board. I study music, and I took this to my instructor, to speed up his teaching method by drawing the staff lines all at once vs one at a time. If there is a better version of this item, I will invest. For the price, it's okay.

Use superglue!
Very cheaply made. The wires came off when I was trying to put the chalks on. I had to use superglue to secure them.

Terrible. Cheaply made, doesn't hold the chalk well, metal holder pull out of the wood easily - don't waste your money.
