3.5 inches width of bristles at longest point. 6.5 inches in full lenght from top of bristles to bottom of handle. Nice and small! Hope that helps :)

Q: Is there something like this brush with longer bristles? My ragdoll loves hers, but it's a little short to get through all her fluff.

The furminator works great on thick fur

Q: Is it okay to use on larger dogs? Even if they have more fur

I use this on my miniature Schnauzer. I recommend a wider brush for a large dog with thick fur.

Q: How do you remive the hair from beistles?

I hold the brush in my left hand and move my right thumb through the bristles and the hair comes out. You can stand over the waste basket while doing this. The bristles are soft enough that they don't hurt your fingers at all. Hope this helps.
