Cento Cherry Tomatoes, 28 Ounce (Pack of 6)

They make a perfect sauce and smell incredible while cooking, I have ordered them twice. My only complaint is they arrive dented, some very badly, which is strange because they come in a six pack! Other than that I am a huge fan!!!

I love these cherry tomatoes. I use them to make pizza sauce. When I don’t use these, my sauce is not as flavorful. I have been draining the last two times I have made my sauce and it has elevated the flavor in my opinion. Great taste, good flavor carrier, and when shipped, well packaged, I have never had damage to these cans and we have ordered multiple times during the pandemic.

All of the cans were dented. Severely. Every one. I can use then but I cannot store them, ...

I love them. It’s not easy to find cherry tomatoes ( canned ) in the US, so I’m grateful for Amazon for carrying the Cento cherry tomatoes . They’re delicious!

These cento cherry tomatoes are a good tasting tomato but for a sauce, I couldn't get past all the skins and was time laboring to pick all them out before plating. But they don't claim to be peeled, so I shouldn't have been surprised. Won't buy again.

The delicious cherry tomatoes inside of the cans were grown in Italy and packaged in heavy tomato juice with sea salt. They are not organic and there is no added basil leaf. They are wonderful to use with other ingredients and include the juice like with garlic, onions, herbs and spices, olive oil, mushrooms and/or olives. Pine nuts are a yummy addition, especially if they have been slightly toasted. They can be drained and roasted to make them even sweeter and use the juice for something else. The problem I had, however, was deciding which can to open first since each and every one of the package of 6 was dented. I had to determine whether to start with the one that had its top crushed which necessitated taking a can opener to the can's bottom, open the one with the smushed bottom half, or begin with one which had assorted dents around the entire can. The tomatoes were not harmed in the denting of the cans, but I never would purchase these at a normal retail price in their condition. I won't be purchasing them again without physically examining them in person. I prefer crushing my own cans after they are empty to make more room in the recycling bin and not being surprised by receiving a case of damaged metal containers.
