Book was soiled
When I received the book it had stains all over, like coffee or tea was spilled on it… I do not think I received a new book. Luckily all of the pages were in tact and non of the patterns were messed up, so I can still enjoy the book. Really bummed the cover and the edge of the pages are messed up though. I expect a new item when I pay for a new item.

this seems like it would be a great book
For anyone who likes to do intarsia, this seems like it would be a great book. The ability to do intarsia 'in the round'? Yea!! Well, its a misnomer. Yes your stitches are linked in the round, but you still have to work back and forth (or as our British counterparts say.. 'to and fro'). It's nice to have the process delineated and the photo tutorial is helpful, but really that is as much as this book accomplishes. The patterns that are included are pretty simple (which for beginners is OK), but ultimately the variability of the patterns is not that great. For example, one of the scarves/wraps, I think I remember about five different versions of the same patterns (just different motifs inserted into the intarsia sections).

Intarsia/Annetarsia Extraordinaire!
Annetarsia Knits is a wonderful resource for knitters interested in learning intarsia. Its clear and concise instructions, along with the excellent illustrations, guide the knitter to successfully knit intarsia flat garter stitch and stockinette stitch and "in the round." The projects, such as my personal favorite, the Namanu Shawl, include several variations photographed against the beautiful backdrop of the foothills of Mount Hood. Simply a wonderful well written intarsia book!

intarsia knitting
If you want to knit intarsia you might as well buy this book. It's a little above my head right now, I've been knitting for four years. I started knitting to knit intarsia.. still working at it..

KAL
Love the book. I'm in a KAL using a pattern from the book. There are a lot of patterns that I can't wait to start.
