As someone who bakes a lot it was never a thought in my mind to try clarified butter. Now that I have tried it, I can't seem to bring myself to go back to baking without it! I opted for the 32 ounce jar and I'm so glad that I did. I love the fact that it's organic ,and also the ghee is already to start using without waiting for it to get soft. It taste great, but I'm not sure if it's a good value for the money since I've never tried it before. I'm going to use this jar until it's empty but the only drawback that I saw is that it came in a plastic jar. That was my only issue but still not enough to remove a star.

As a relavite newbie partaker of GHEE, I must say that 4th & Heart easily earns a superior grade for texture, scent and flavor. It’s light yellow near-butter look is inviting compared to others, that tend to be more beige/tan in color. While most GHEE makers put out GHEE that has a grainy texture, this can usually be fixed by heating the entire glass container and once fully melted, then put in to a freezer or the coldest section of a refrigerator, and this should help to make the texture a bit more smooth. Note, graininess does not effect its performance as a spread (for those who use it that way) or a cooking/frying oil. This product is not the least expensive but if I were to suggest a first time purchase for anyone who has never tried GHEE, this would be the top pick. I’ve moved on to making my own GHEE. It’s very satisfying to make your own, and after carefully following instructions for making it, I’ve been able to put out a GHEE that is as good or even better than this one! Meanwhile, for those who have never tried this particular brand, don’t miss out. Try it, and enjoy the light GHEE flavor, silky texture, and you won’t regret it!

Pretty good. A tad of a strange aftertaste. A little pricey, but it's organic and good ghee content.

This was the first ghee I've ever used. I have used oils,butters and other things for frying. It made the perfect fried eggs at a much higher heat and had no burning on or in the pan. My eggs had no chemical after taste. I never want to use anything different from my experience

Try for the first time recently I have been hearing a lot of a lot of stuff about it. To me it’s creamier than regular butter and enhances the flavor. Also, it can be left at room temp without spoiling and a plus it is better for the body . Yes, organic had the lactose removed source way better for the body and has a high smoking point so it doesn’t pop everywhere..

The main reason I bought this was I have two cast iron pans and I like to season them after I use and wash them. Previously learning about ghee and its benefits, I had used vegetable oil which isn’t the best for you health wise. When I had learned about ghee and used it, I’ll never go back! It does the job but is also healthy! If you have never used it, it smells sort of like the butter you use for making popcorn. Personally I love the smell compared to any oils or butters! It’s very thick when you feel it and seems to be a brighter yellow than butter. The other benefit of it and other time I use it when I cook is for high heat so when I cook steaks or other sorts of meat. I feel it gives my meat a better taste than if I were to use butter or oils. Overall, I LOVE ghee. Not only is it healthy for you, it has an attractive smell to it, and is great for your cast iron pots/pans and for cooking in high heats or just in general! Plus it lasts for a long time so the price to me is justifiable!

Good replacement of ordinary ghee and cooking oil. Smells good n lighter on stomach. Normal ghee causes acidity and heartburn.
