These little brackets don't look like much. But when you get them mounted and put your laptop in them, it literally transforms the look of your desk. Pair these with some really good cable trays, and you'll have that minimalistic desk look that everybody is looking for.What I found to be very useful is to mount the brackets first with double-sided tape (not included) and then after you readjust them for your laptop, once you are satisfied that the brackets are in the right spot for your laptop, secure the bracket with a single screw in the center mounting hole. That's it, that's all that you need.The kit comes with self tapping screws, so no pre-drilling is needed. That's why the double-sided tape option is really good, because once you get the brackets in place, you just pop the one screw in, and you're done.

...used it to mount an external drive under desk, simple, effective, great value for money, used 3M tape instead of the screws, installing them just a smidge shorter than the width of the drive for a snug fit, so far so good.UPDATE: Unless your device is relatively lightweight, use the supplied screws as intended.

A marker and a center punch are practically required to get this reasonably installed. To get it looking nice and even, a second pair of hands to help makes a big difference.Once it's in though, it works great and it holds on well. The desk I installed it onto was a pretty typical laminated particle board construction and it's very solid there.

Absolutely perfect. Easy to set up, sturdy, well shaped for ease of use. Sometimes the simplest method is the best, and I'm confident these will last a long time.

Really great for the price! It keeps my laptop hidden and off my desk, which was my main goal. It was pretty easy to install, just a few screws and took only a few minutes to get each bracket mounted.I like that it’s three completely separate pieces to make it easy to adjust for whatever size of laptop, and they are metal and sturdy.I do wish that there was an option for brackets that are smaller—I have a MacBook Air that’s really thin, so there’s a bit of a gap in between my computer and the bottom of my desk, and every once in a while the arm of my chair will hit it. So it would be nice if there was one that didn’t hang quit as low for thin laptops, but I knew what size they were when I bought them and they certainly have served their purpose. Plus for this price compared to others, there’s no reason to go with anything else.

I was able to put my cutting board under my cabinet with these. They r a lot easier to get to now!!

My new job is work from home and they gave me a huge 17" laptop with a docking station. It pretty much took over my desk and was in the way. I decided that an under-desk mount was what I needed. These brackets worked perfectly and were cheaper than the other solutions I found here.I mounted the laptop on the side of my desk drawers. I put two of the mounts on the bottom and one on the top. I split some rubber hose and slipped it on the brackets to keep them from scratching the laptop. Only took about 15 minutes to complete. Works great! I have my desk back again.

The brackets will definitely hold your laptop or whatever, but hard to install. No frills for sure.
