Q: How much do i need to get started, and how often do i need to use it?

hiI purchased a 2 pound container. (32 oz) the way you use it is to pour one cup(8 ounces) at a time into the toilet. flush toilet after each cup until the container is empty. you need to do this every six months.

Q: Can I pour this down my outside patio drain and push it through with some hose water?

The root killer is to kill roots in your septic drain field. Unless the patio drain emptie in your septic system, you're wasting the root kill.

Q: Can you put in septic tank clean out

This does an excellent job of killing root that have clogged drain field lines. Other bacterias are used to clear septic tanks.

Q: Could this kill The rest of the sissoo tree we cut down and it’s invasive roots? I don’t have a problem with pipes but need these things gone.

Been using this pretty long. Just had camera put into drain line month ago. I can still see some roots hanging from top of pipe but not blocking flow. Wont rid you of all the roots. Definitely no roots on bottom or sides.
