Curvy, flattering fit & still comfortable after long shift.
YES the 5.11 EMS pant is actually designed for a woman, hallelujah. I like the fit. The back of the waist is higher, probably to prevent "plumber's crack" when bending/squatting. The fit isn't exactly low rise, it's 1-2 inches below the navel, which is better than a lot of other brands with such a high rise they could double as a bra. The fabric is heavier/thicker than TRU-SPEC EMS pants (which I also own and like). I thought the sizing was fairly accurate. I'm 5'5", 120 lbs, 34b-27w-36h, and size 4 fits well (tried size 6 first, too big). A curvy cut through the waist and hips, I think it's flattering. My only complaint about the fit is that the thighs down to the knees are probably 30% baggier than necessary. If 5.11 takes in the legs on future designs, I'd say it's the perfect EMS pant. I haven't had problems with the snap (at the waist closure) coming undone. Glad I got the long inseam, I like how the hem doesn't hike up when wearing boots and sitting down. The navy color is a very dark navy. They're a bit pricey, but you're paying for good design that's worth it when you have to wear the pants for hours on end. Still comfortable after a 12-hour shift. Can't say that about some other brands that pull and pinch because the fit isn't quite right.

Best EMS Pants for Women
These are the best Women's EMS pants out there that I have tried. Very durable, excellent detail in areas to make the pants comfortable. Color stays to a dark blue and does not fade like other brands. However, my disappointment with these pants was when I ordered these pants this time around from Amazon the pant size that I always wear were tight and smaller than my other 511 EMS Pants ordered elsewhere. I knew these pants run small and the size I need to order is 2x's the size of my normal pant size. But, I didn't expect them to be smaller than past orders. I kept them anyway because, they are wearable, just not as comfortable. I like mine looser than normal. (Need to loose a few pounds anyway.) I would have rated these pants 5 stars if it wasn't for the diffculty to find the correct size.

Sizing is the only issue, but it is a big one.
These pants are excellent quality but the sizing is very very wrong. I was so excited to get them in the mail and I even followed others and ordered a size larger. The legs fit but the waist was about two more sizes too small. I am normally a 6. I may need to go for a ten or a twelve to get the waist right. I do not have a big waist at all which is why im so confused. My body is pretty proportionate. As a 5'6 women then length was just right but i could go for long and still be fine.

These pants are awesome. That said
These pants are awesome. That said, go at least 2 sizes larger. I wear a 4 usually and had to return a 6 for an 8. The 6 fit okay but was just too snug to be worn comfortably while lifting and doing patient care. I don't mind, they were worth the trouble of exchanging them. So comfortable and so many useful pockets. I'm going to order another pair.

I'm 5'2" and the length is fine.
I bought these pants. They are cut small in the hips and butt area. I am very hippy and blessed in the butt dept, so I had to go two sizes up. Unfortunately, my waist is relatively small, so there is a HUGE waist gap... I guess a belt will take care of that. I'm 5'2 and the length is acceptable.
