GORE WEAR Men's Torrent Jackets Jacket (pack of 1)

1,76cm,70kg,84cm waist,96cm chest,size M. Fit is close to body,a bit tight under the shoulders and bottom could be more elastic not to leave the small gap,but overall good. Length is prefect for me. No flapping on downhill. Fully waterproof and windproof while letting all the moisture out. Perfect for cold and wet rides when you use it as top layer for the whole length of spin without worrying of getting to sweaty , although I probably wouldn't use it in temperatures over 10° as I would get too hot. It fits the rear pocket,but as emergency jacket I would use something lighter,more packable. Hard to comment on durability as I owe it only short time,but the quality of workmanship is top.

184cm 70kg size L fits me well. I wear Castelli L and DHB Aeron Lab L. Bear in mind this is a slim fit cut and not a baggy garment. I will be able to fit a layer or two underneath for colder weather riding. Arm length is good, as is torso length, the cut reflects a riding position on the hoods or drops and provides good coverage. The jacket could be improved by adding a two-way zip, in the sizing of neck area, which is a touch loose, and the pack away feature is useful but does not pack down as small as I was expecting however, this does reflect the more robust nature of the jacket- it’s not a flyweight single layer garment. This is a well made jacket that should hold up to repeated use. I purchased the redish colour which looks great.

Opened the box, tried it on, could not even get the zip connected. I am 34inch waist. Sleeves were down to my knuckles. 3 inches short at front and back. Amazing sizing. I am 6ft2 and slimish. I had a Shakedry same size XL which fitted perfectly. This is like a child’s version made my an Italian pro racing team in comparison and I reckon I would need to go up about another 3 sizes and then find a way of rolling the sleeves up. Fastest Amazon return ever.

Wie von GORE gewohnt passt hier alles. Die Jacke sitzt knapp, aber nicht hauteng. Ärmel sind auch fürs Rennrad lang genug und der Kragen ist angenehm weich. Die Jacke lässt sich auch ganz klein in die Rückentasche verstauen.

L’unica cosa…..manca il cappello

Attention aux tailles malgré consultation du guide , gore taille vraiment très prêt du corps ( à l italienne ? ) Du coup j'ai du recommandé un M alors que je prend du S régulièrement pour les vêtements de sport .Pour exemple je mesure 1.73 pour 68 kg avec des épaules un peu large.Veste incroyablement légère au premier abord j'ai hâte de l essayer en condition de pluie !

Great jacket to keep you dry. It is breathable but you still get moisture build up inside due to cycling effort.

Wie schon andere vor mir beschrieben haben, fällt diese Jacke deutlich kleiner aus. Ich habe die Größenhilfe von GORE zur Hilfe genommen und hätte Größe "S" benötigt. Die Jacke war deutlich zu eng. Der Reißverschluss war nicht zu schließen. Nach Umtausch in Größe "M" passt die Jacke so wie ich es als sportlich/körpernah erwartet habe (1,75m 70 kg). Es ist also ein Schnitt eher für sportliche Fahrer (Rennrad etc.) Praktisch ist die Rückentasche, da sie auch als Packbeutel für die Jacke genutzt werden kann. Die Ärmel sind tendenziell länger geschnitten, um die gestreckten Arme in sportlicher Position komplett zu schützen. Der Stoff ist sehr dünn, eher für warme Temperaturen geeignet als Wind- / Regenjacke.
