This should be the only "mat" you ever need! First, the board folds very well. No sticking. No Stiffness Second, the board is high quality board game cardboard...not the new stuff that breaks up easy. I'm talking old school last for generations board. Third, it's double sided with squares on 1 side hexagons on the other. Fourth, I have used both dry erase and wet erase on this thing and both come off super easy. Fifth, The box is big enough to hold supplies, my dice, and notebooks. It's also small enough to fit in my bag of holding. I have used this now for quite a few sessions and it is doing great...I even left a map on the board for 2 weeks and it cleaned right off.

This is such a cool idea. The board is nice and heavy and durable. Cleans off easily. Congress in a stout box that has room for dice and bits.

Its great for games where the GM decides to make rather basic maps. Being one that does, this board has been a great purchase. Its big enough for large terrain maps for games like Twilight: 2000 and small enough to not take up an entire table (my table, at least).My only issue is that the center lining tears up a little bit and sticks up. Not a bad thing by any means, its just, being a little uptight about that stuff, it bothers me ever so slightly. I got over it, though!Overall, highly recommend it.

The Hexers role playing game board is exactly what I needed and expected. I have used other products advertised as "Battle Grid" that were porous and did not erase well. However, this playing board was perfect. I started a new campaign on Friday and debuted the Hexers role playing game board. I used Expo colored dry erase markers with the game board and it erased perfectly and left no ghost outline of the previous drawings. My players were very happy with the map board! This is essentially a Whiteboard quality gaming board in a box. The board folds up and stores in the included box. Another feature to the folding, is when you are tight on space, you can only use one quadrant of the board, or half if you desire. With having squares on one side and hexagons on the other, it is like having two maps in one.Thank you for making such an amazing product!

Only complaint is that it's slightly smaller than similar products. Not an issue though and can be a positive depending on space. High quality and serves purpose well

Great quality. I love how it's a board and not a mat so it doesn't get creased or bent, and it's way more portable than a full size paper pad or whiteboard. I use the hex side for world maps and the square side for local maps, and it's fast and easy to flip the board over even partially to quickly reference the other side. The box is a good size and has room to fit markers, erasers, tokens, and even notebooks which makes DMing much easier as there's not a lot of loose stuff moving around in my bag.

This works fantastically. It erases far easier than vinyl matts and does not leave behind stains. It folds out from 4 solid panels like some board games do. I use that to my advantage by drawing out the terrain for our game ahead of time but keeping parts that I want obscured from the players folded up or on the other side.It has both squares and hexagons which is a huge plus. I use wet erase markers so players don't accidentally erase things, but it looks like the material would work well with dry erase markers as well. Just be careful when erasing wet erase markers, as water can get into a crease where the edges of two of the panels meet. A little scotch guard or a similar product would help repell the water, which will prevent warping over time.

Stavo aspettando di fare la campagna per verificare se il prodotto andasse bene o meno ma mi ritengo soddisfatta, era proprio quello che cercavo. Purtroppo non ho al momento delle foto perché era un regalo e non ho avuto la possibilità di farle, ma fidatevi che è davvero stupenda, il segno dei pennarelli si toglie senza problemi.Cercavo questo regalo per il mio Dungeon Master, una mappa rigida che non si piega e abbastanza "facile" da portare.

Ein wirklich cooles Brett. Groß für das Spielen von Dungeons and Dragon, aber ich weiß nicht, ob es das Problem mit dem Brett oder die Marker oder den Schwamm, die Amazon empfohlen, aber es scheint, sie nicht sehr gut löschen. Ich werde im Laufe der Zeit sehen, aber für den Rest ist es cool.

I needed one of these and while initially the price held me back, and having no experience with these boards whatsoever, I decided to err on the side of spending a bit too much. However, after using it I must say that I do not regret the purchase: the board does exactly as advertised. It was easy to draw on and erase the drawing. I am unsure of how long it will last, but it feels as sturdy as you'd expect from a quality board game. I would recommend giving it a once over with a damp cloth after usage to get rid of any remaining marker ink coagulant. I still think it's on the expensive side, but I am very content with the quality. I am also pleasantly surprised the box has a bit of extra space to put some markers, booklets and dice in.

Lorsque j’ai commencé à chercher une surface quadrillée pour jouer à DD5, ce n’était clairement pas mon premier choix : trop cher.Néanmoins, après avoir étudié la plupart des autres options, j’ai vite compris que les autres n’allaient pas tenir dans la durée, car trop fins ou peu solides.J’ai donc acheté celui-ci, et je n’en suis pas déçue. Il s’efface bien, reste protégé dans sa boîte, et offre assez de place pour permettre de vraies batailles.Je ne regrette donc pas mon achat.
