From any distance it looks like a faded antique oriental rug. Mating it to its underliner can be a challenge until you get the knack of it. (Lay the rug flat out, upside down. Now unroll the “under-mat”rough side down, adjusting as you go.)Stain resistant which is a must with a steady ‘stream’ of rescue dogs coming through (pun acknowledged.) Into the washer, and I dry it in the sun.To be honest, many of the other designs are not as authentic looking, but to each his own.The Jonathon Adler Inkwell is a modern standout!!

This is a beautiful rug! The colors aren't as dark as they appear in the photo. It's a nice muted red-orange and dark navy, with a little white and tan throughout. It added a lot of depth to my white kitchen, but isn't too vibrant by any means. I love it. It is soft, lays flat, stays put and a breeze to wash. I would buy another ruggable in a heartbeat.

My first ruggable and it is much better than I thought it would be. Colors are beautiful, easy to lay out and it is holding up wonderfully!

A little pricey, but the cheaper washable rugs don't have the detachable and clever slip pad. Which means that you can wash these separately to keep the rubber pad from disintegrating by going through a number of washings....and the rug will most likely last longer because of this.

This rug is exactly what I needed to bring color and texture into my neutral kitchen. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. The quality is great and machine washable is a must in a kitchen!
