I chose 5 stars because although this item is a very simple idea, it is useful for many games. My two year old grandson uses them to stack into a tower. He is also sorting them into colour groups, groups by the number of holes and spends ages counting them. Threading them is helping with his skills and we have started using them to teach adding and taking away. Well worth the money and highly recommended. They are made by Galt which is a brand that most nurseries use because they are such good quality and are useful for many different games.

The buttons are good quality. There is one lace but that wasn't a problem for us. Dexterity has improved already. You can discuss colours, you can count the buttons out, you can count the holes in the buttons, you can stack them. There are probably lots of good ideas.

Really nice quality and colours, different numbers of holes helps to develope motor skills. Also we learn colours with them and numbers, try sort them by this patterns. Good plastic and no smell. My 2.5 years old handles them really well.But!!! There is only one lace which is not really long. It’s not enough for playing with them in different ways.

These are sturdy buttons with no sharp edges. I have used them with special needs children during sensory play. We have enjoyed scooping and dropping them. They are great for colour matching and a safer size for those children who like putting things in their mouths.

These are fabulous for little ones and thet even stack. I use to have something similar for my kids. I bought these for my grandson as I used them for counting, colours and gross motor skill development.They come in beautiful bright colours and are easy for little fingers. The only disappointment and it was a big one, it only comes with 1 piece of black string. It's not even long enough for little one to make a necklace for his mummy. I had looming thread so I've sorted it out but where have all the bright colourful threads that use to come with it gone? These are good value for money though and good for rainy days!
