NubyMusical Cot Mobile with Colour Changing Wall/Ceiling Starlight Projection

This mobile is of a good size unlike the previous one I purchased from Amazon. My grandson loves it. Only downside is it eats the batteries and they are not cheap as it takes 3 x C batteries.

this is a lovely mobile , lovely and bright, lights the ceiling with stars which baby loves to watch , the music is very good and soothing , the planes and helicopters can go round or stay still, there is nothing i dislike about this mobile it is truly a lovely mobile for baby

Wanted a colourful, revolving mobile. This is exactly what I wanted. It's substantial enough and hangs over enough so that baby can see it and has eye-catching colours.the arm that holds the mobile could have been better quality but overall I'm happy enough.

I really wanted to like this product, but unfortunately it fails in several areas.Firstly, you can’t turn off the sound when it’s turned on, you can turn down the volume, but even then it isn’t really quiet and it doesn’t go to mute. If you want to use other functions like the mobile rotating and or projecting lights the sound is always on!Secondly, although there are multiple choices, all of the lullabies available are pretty tinny, and to be frank, annoying to listen to, in this day and age most parents will want to play their own music via another device so it’s crazy that you can’t mute the sound, and use the other functions!Finally the colour projections have three modes red to green to blue. However, these switch from colour to colour when turned on and you can’t choose to have just one of the colours on permanently. Anyone who knows anything about creating an environment conducive to sleep will know that blue light in particular impacts the ability to sleep well, and so it’s crazy that blue is an option on a mobile used to help a baby sleep and so frustrating you can’t just keep it on red, the only colour I would want to choose when putting the baby to sleep. Blue light could be suitable in the mornings when the baby has just woken up.If these issues were solved, then this would actually be a fairly good product given the cost.Yes, it is plasticy, but that’s because it’s made of plastic and at this price point, that’s acceptable for me. The build quality is good for the price, but the thought going into the user experience is very poor and disappointing.

There are a bunch of problems with this, which is expected for the price.The long white poles that hold the toys don't sit flush against each other and cannot be pushed together so if it is knocked or your baby moves around in bed it makes a lot of noise as the pieces rattle together. Tried so many times to force them together, but it's like the pieces that should clip together were not properly made to fit each other.The volume is way too loud on the lowest setting, even putting tape over the speaker doesn't do much to help. If you had it on overnight in the same room, or even the next room with thin walls, you'd still be able to hear it. You also can't just have the mobile spin, or have the projector on, without music playing which is annoying. Because of this, even new batteries drain pretty fast (even if it's not used for long periods of time).
