If you've got fine hair that you wear at a reasonable length, you'll probably need something to control its shape. I've had a combed-back style for years and have used many different kinds of gel. Not having time to dry my hair before leaving for work I rely on my hair drying out naturally during my commute. The other products I used until I tried this gel resulted in a wet plastered-down look that took a couple of hours to dry and, once dry, tended to produce a rigid moulded look rather than anything natural. By the end of the day it had changed to the other extreme - the hold had fallen out and control had gone resulting in an untidy appearance.The Bed Head was a bit of a revelation. No heavy wet feel to it, it dries quite quickly and provides astonishing hold but in a way that doesn't make you conscious that you're wearing it. And if you don't under-apply it, it lasts all day until bed time, maintaining a natural but controlled look all the while. By no means cheap but with this you get what you pay for - and a tube lasts a long time.In summary, great stuff that I would definitely recommend.

I picked up this product after noticing it has been the secret recipe to the crisp finishes my barber gives after a cut. I copy as the barber does and apply a small amount (roughly half a thimble full - yes that's a standard unit of measure) to my hair after a brief towel dry. I then blow dry my hair as I want it, combing as I go, and it gives great texture. It doesn't replace a styling gel but makes your hair feel like a dense unit as opposed to looking like a frizzy pom-pom and makes for a very professional finish that you can't quite put your finger on.It smells bloody fantastic, I have a mixed gaggle of wild animals trying to mate with my crisp unit of hair at all times because this stuff smells so good. My hair is blonde and as such I only use matte products to prevent it looking greasy, this gets me half way to the finished style I'm after without having to cake my head in cement to get a good hold. I believe it can allow for a more wet look if you don't blowdry/comb the hair also.Do it.

Bed Head is a relatively well-known company in the business of hair products within the haircare industry and I have always trusted them whilst having treatment in the hairdressers/salons. I have previously used the Bed Head 'Manipulator' product, which is a type of paste used for short hair. My hair is rather short and it is extremely thin and fine, making it very hard to style. I have never had such good experiences with gel due to my hair type being so dry and almost cotton wool-like. However, Power Play Firm Finish Gel has been very much a saviour for me lately, making my hair go in the direction I want it to go for a change, and keeping it there for hours after styling. I have always trusted Bed Head due to the Manipulator paste working so well in the past, so when I wanted a change and more of a 'wet-gel' look on my hair, Bed Head was the obvious company to go with and I have not regretted it. I may switch between the Firm Finish Gel and the Manipulator at times, but this gel has really helped my styling needs. A very much recommended product for those who have very fine, dry and coarse hair. You will feel so much more confident after looking in the mirror and seeing your hair styled like it should be, from a very trustworthy company.

Have been using for years and this is a good price

I bought this for my son who has struggled to find a product that doesn’t make his hair crispy feeling or have white flecks - thankfully this doesn’t do either, he absolutely loves this! It makes his hair look fab and keep its shape throughout the day. Will definitely be purchasing again

I love and prefer TIGI products for men but this product did not meet my expectation.It might be a good gel, but i needed strong and this is not strong at all ...
