GP100 & GP80 - Projectors for different use cases!
GP100---------------After a lot of searching, comparing, and humming and hawing over which projector to buy, I eventually settled on the Vivibright GP100. The unit is well built, picture quality is excellent and is even view-able in daylight unlike other similarly priced projectors! The colours appear vibrant and not under/ over-saturated. Focusing the image and screen-tilt are easily adjusted with the durable scroll wheels located on the right hand side of the unit. Text appears crisp and response rate for gaming seems good (Not had any problems in competitive shooter games). I have the GP100 set 8 foot away from the wall, giving you a screen-size of 80" diagonally, which is a nice step up from the old 32" TV that was sat there before! If you want an amazing image quality for this price, you have to be aware there are a few concessions:Firstly, the speaker quality - whilst not the worst i've heard - isn't anything to write home about. But if you're using the projector for a home cinema or gaming unit I would imagine you will be using an external speaker anyway!Secondly, the cooling fans in this system are quite loud, not unbearably loud, but definitely noticeable if not using an external speaker. When you do use external speakers the sound of the cooling fan is hardly noticeable and not a problem.Thirdly, the units dimensions are quite large in comparison to the cheaper 'portable' projectors. I would say however that this trade-off really makes all the difference! If you want tiny and cheap, you're going to lose out on quality. The difference between this projector in comparison to something like a cheaper Elephas or QKK or similar is night and day.GP80---------------After being extremely pleased with the quality of the GP100 I got a GP80 to use as a secondary, portable projector. The GP80 is a lot smaller than the GP100 and features a camera tripod mount at the bottom. This makes it a handy projector for travel or for setting up, then packing up in rooms where space is limited, so the flexibility of the GP80 is really a selling point! Although, the size and convenience does come at a price. As with the GP100, the GP80's internal speakers aren't the best. So again, i'd recommend pairing them with an external speaker for the best experience. However, the cooling fan on the GP80 does sound a bit quieter than those on it's bigger brother! As for the image quality, the unit has a lower resolution than the GP100 so pixels become a bit more pronounced (see the last image for comparison!) Brightness is good, but the colours are a lot more washed out when the room is lit. I would say this projector is more suited to having a few mates round to watch a film, or your favourite sports event (or taking it round to theirs due to the size!). The lower resolution becomes apparent with anything that displays smaller text. This means that the GP80 isn't ideal for gaming or presenting slideshows with small text. For films however, you find yourself too engrossed in the content to really notice the pixels much!Seller---------------I got both projectors through the "UK Visual Great" seller, who delivered them fast and has provided excellent aftermarket support. Can't fault them.Conclusion---------------For those who are hunting for a higher resolution, cinema-quality projector experience I'd highly recommend picking up the GP100. It's been absolutely fantastic for films, gaming and presentations. If you're short for space, want a cheaper projector for the kids (just incase they break it!), or value ease of portability then the GP80 will provide a great film and video watching experience for a cheaper price!

I'm shocked at how so many youtubers recommend this - they clearly don't know what they're talking ...
If you want a product that will break after a very, very short period of use, have either focus to the centre or the edges (not both), then purchase this. Mine died out very shortly after unboxing. The fan is extremely loud to the point where even that alone would stop me purchasing it. I'm shocked at how so many youtubers recommend this - they clearly don't know what they're talking about or have been paid to say its decent - its not. And its not 1080 either, or at least, it certainly doesn't look that way - AVOID! (go for any optoma instead)

A fairly good projector,
After buying a small portable DLP projector I decided to purchase a more permanent one that was brighter for home cinema use.Pros:It offers various connectivity options: HDMI, VGA (a VGA cable is also included, but nobody really used VGA anymore, it would've been more helpful with an HDMI cable included) and USB.It does come with internal speakers which can go loud enough for most uses; The brightness is bright enough for use in a lit room, in a dark room obviously much better.Cons:The fan is slightly loud, if you want complete silence when watching a film this is something that could bother you;The speakers do sound 'crackly' at high volume, I find that at around greater than 90. on the volume.Overall:A fairly good projector, I would recommend it if you aren't bothered about background noise from the fan, and you're not interested in high-end projection and just like the feel of a home cinema.

Decent solid cheap projector but don't expect home cinema perfection or massive brightness
This projector has already been extensively reviewed on Youtube and I would recommend watching one of those videos for a basic overview of the ports available and to get a good idea of dimensions etc.Overall I'm fairly pleased with the projector and think it will fit our needs but it's worth bearing in mind its limitations. We have purchased several of these, and for the money, you get a fairly well built LED bulb projector with ok brightness and simple controls. As a basic model for showing informational videos in class it will do us ok I believe.Features- Dual HDMI's are a nice touch, USB ports provide power which can run a Chromecast. Basic set of features for screen setup and it plays files from USB well but the UI is very basic. Supplied with RCA cables (trash; seriously, why include these?) VGA cable & remote (no batteries). Would like to see an HDMI cable included. Nice to see that the transformer is internal and the unit only requires a standard 'kettle' lead.Design/build - No doubt about it, this is a chunky projector and fairly heavy. Not a problem there and seems fairly solid with a good set of controls on the top. Only a single position foot to raise up the image though.Noise/sound - I'd echo what others say, the projector is pretty loud but just within tolerable levels. It's drowned out by most sounds of TV/film but will ruin quiet moments. The inbuilt speakers goes pretty loud though it distorts quite a lot at high volumes and appears to project downwards as I had quite a heavy bass rumble when not using the foot and the unit was flat on a table. Handy feature though.Picture quality - Ok, first to sharpness, I find this pretty acceptable and without too much lens distortion which is common on cheap optics. As you tend to find on cheap LED projectors colours are quite washed out and contrast is very low. You could definitely watch a film on this at night and it will be fine for us showing TV programmes or doing basic education tasks in a dimmed daytime room (simple presentation, Kahoot etc). To be clear though the notion of this being 3000 lumens is utter nonsense. We have some 3000 lumens Optima projectors and they are absolute light cannons. My last home cinema projector was a 950 lumen model and was clearly brighter than this so I'd guess it's only 500-800 lumens. Having said that for less than half the price of a Panasonic or similar it may do you a decent service.Overall - a decent budget choice. For total home cinema fans I would suggest looking at a second hand 720p home cinema model for better colours and contrast though bear in mind you'll need to budget in half the cost of this projector just for a new bulb! It's hard to be blown away by this machine but it's equally hard to be upset.
