Amazing Product
Bought this product after reading reviews and watching video. I used the 6mm side on a slightly uneven surface. I have to say this product is amazing, nice smooth finish, glides along nicely and really easy to clean. Why didn’t I buy this before…….

The horror job of silicone
This is a really good idea and on two smooth surfaces it would have done the job in a lot less time than with other tools but unfortunately, with small marble tiles the slightest ridge was not easy to negotiate. With a solid grip, I still think that this is a good product and I am glad that I gave it a try, keep it for the next job which is a totally smooth surface and behind taps.

Cant live without this Makes the job So much better and 100% easier I cant stand grouting But with this It made my nightmare over ☺️

Bought both Metex blocks for work purpose ease of use with minimal skills gives a great finish everytime ideal for larger width of joint

Great for beginers
Cool product ideal for a beginner to do some neat silicone works. Little tip some soapy water in a spray bottle so it glides and doest stick to everything. Only thing i found was cornering was a bit akward and secondly you have to apply quite alot of silicone upon application in order to meet the thickness of tool so you do waste quite a lot

Good in theory, not in practice.
Great idea.... In theory! Crikey, I've never had such a poor finish on silicone. This, I imagine, would be good on a straight run that tapers off to nothing on the finishing run. As soon as you lift it, it leaves a lump. There is SO much waste too. To get the 8mm finish, about twice as much sealant is required just to get the block to pick it up. Cleaning the block is a nightmare with the textures and writing embossed in it. I went over the run I did with my years old tried and tested method (fat sausage finger dipped in water). I had high hopes for this gadget but was really disappointed.
