Great read
I really enjoy reading this book. I walked away learning something new and interesting that never get discussed when people talk about this conflict.

Not worth the money
Osprey USED to be a good publisher, but their quality has declined STEEPLY, both in accuracy and quality. This edition suffers greatly from multiple inaccuracies, such as calling AGM-88 HARM missiles' "AGM-55's", and captioning AIM-54's as "AGM-65 Mavericks".Not worth the cost to buy it, sadly.

And now for something completely different...
Operation Allied Force in 1999 attempted to be something completely different. NATO and its regional allies attempted to coerce Serbia into leaving its ethnic minorities alone, without putting ground troops into the theater of operations. Readers may judge how they did.The amount of airpower assembled for Allied Force was impressive. NATO and its friends and allies went through an impressive learning curve applying it. The end results, despite a variety of mistakes and a decent mixture of politics, ended up working out in surprising ways. It may have also built unrealistic expectations for other interventions. The book contains an impressive number of period photographs, illustrations, battle maps, and other graphics. U.S. General Wesley Clark is kept at least somewhat in background. Well recommended.

Well written, but poor proof reading.
Book was was very informative, but the kindle edition that I have is mixing several images but notes for editing them are present. Was the book rushed? This series I like but this was real added in the worst state to date.

Overall the subject matter was of interest but the execution flawed
Like another reviewer there are numerous errors in this book (kindle) that made me check to see if I could return it! The quote from another air campaign book is still present as are the missing charts and/or the usual graphics showing how the campaign went. Since other reviewers have not mentioned these errors in the book form I would suggest buyers forgo the Kindle in this case! I can say that if these gross errors had occurred in earlier air campaign books I not bought any more.
