Very nice drumsticks.
These sticks have a very nice weight to them, and are quite comfortable to hold or grip in several positions. I am teaching myself how to twirl my drumsticks, and these are quite comfortable for me to practice with. These were a great find.

Not hickory
Broke almost every stick in 5 songs definitely not made from hickory ... Not worth it

Light, tough, and have good grips
I really like these drum sticks, they're nice and light and have better grip than most drum sticks. They're what I would call bouncy, they pop back up quickly after striking a drum, which I personally prefer. I've never used drum sticks with any type of grip and have come to like it. Very happy with these drumsticks, glad I got them.
