I'm sorry to say that it really was a book for another (pre digital) era.If it was given a totally updated revision that would help, but to be honest, who in the recording industry (home or studio based), would use the chapters on tape/cassette .Any book that's ten years old in the technology/computer/audio recording field would need a serious revision, so it seems pointless selling this with just a passing mention to when it was published.

Book in excellent condition considering the price!!! Gives me the information I was looking for . A very good purchase.

Great informative book, written in a way ANYONE can understand. A real gem for musicians who are more interested about recording their music than playing with technology for technology's sake.
