Great lightweight stroller
We love this stroller. I debated over many strollers before landing on this one, and it was well worth it. I needed one that wouldn't take up too much real estate in the car trunk (Toyota Corolla) and was lightweight enough for me to lift in and out of the trunk (and up and down stairs!). Although many strollers probably fit that description, we have been very happy with the Maclaren. What we like:-It's lightweight - can lift with one hand to put it in the trunk of the car. Easy to fold up and down (although I will say it takes a bit of a learning curve at first to learn how to open it and close it - if grandma or grandpa were borrowing it I would have to give them a quick lesson first)-Easy to steer and push - is a smooth ride-Pretty decent basket for an umbrella stroller, and we use the basket A LOT.-Decent sun shade, although could be a bit larger for extra shade coverageWhat we don't like:-When you fold it up, the wheels touch the inside of the sunshade and mark it up pretty badly; I cannot figure out how to avoid this without removing the sunshade all together. If you rolled the wheels over dirty or wet surfaces, that stuff from the wheels will get on the sunshade-No cupholders/handlebar storage area. You can purchase these separately, however.-I know certain models can have a full recline, and we sacrificed the full recline for lighter weight - however, now with a young baby who can't ride in it for several months, I do wish I had the full recline.Overall, this is a great stroller, and we would purchase it again over other models if we had the need!

Lightweight, Compact Yet Very Sturdy
I gave the stroller to my daughter and son-in-law for use with my 1-year old granddaughter. They already had a large expensive stroller that was compatible with the baby carrier/car seat, but they wanted one that was more portable and didn't take up the entire trunk of the car. The Maclaren collapses easily into a compact size, leaving plenty of room in the trunk for trips to Costco. The baby enjoys having her feet dangling, and she wiggled and stretched them every time we went out for a stroll. She can also see all around her and not feel so confined as she did with the other stroller. The straps are adjustable so that they can continue to use this stroller until she no longer needs one. The baby bag can be slung over the handles or placed on the shelf below. The wheels move and turn easily, and the lightweight makes the job of pushing baby less strenuous for the parents too. The brakes are easily set or released with the paddles that can be pushed with your toe. This stroller will see frequent use and always be in the trunk of one of their cars, ready for the next trip.

Maclaren triumph proves its worth. Love this stroller!!! :D
Triumph true and true, now I'm a believer! Lol. But seriously though, I bought this after being disappointed from purchasing the summer 3D lite stroller (which broke on me after 5 to 6 uses). I had tried this stroller out at the store and was instantly into it. So i ordered it on amazon. Shipment came on time, the stroller was well packaged, came with lots of instructions (not needed but hardly) and it was fully assembled. It's a study lightweight, great quality, rides smooth, love the curved in handle bars and the one foot bar locking system. The strap is placed in the middle which is easy to carry and the recline is excellent. I was also impressed by the rain cover which surprised me because I thought it was too small but it actually locks into place (making it the best rain cover I've seen). I never had a Maclaren before so I never understood what the fluff was all about. Now I know and I am happy. I am in love with this stroller.

comparing the old Triumph with the new one.
we have had a Maclaren Triumph for about four years. This stroller has made it it to our third child. We love it. However, we are also hard on things and this stroller eventually died. we grieved. By now our stroller no longer has the bottom basket or the top. and the wheels aren't working anymore. We are VERY hard on things.Enter our search for a new stroller. I decided that we loved our triumph and saw this one go on sale again so i figured.. why not get another? so we did. The differences between this and the old one:This one is Taller then the older one. This one can fit an older child. The new one has a rain cover. When in its most upright position the new one is as far back as a fully declined old one. (i have mixed feelings on this)The new one comes with a tether loop which can be used to hold a bag or for a child to hold on to. (neat)The lock looks a little different on the new, less sturdyThe latch for both the 5point harness and the seat position is awkward on the new one. I'm a little afraid i'm going to break the latch getting my child into or out of the stroller.the weight of the newer stroller is a little over 13lb, the old one was lighter. (this is very very important to me. amazon also said it was 11lb so thats not on my reading skills)--------------There are many ways in which i'm excited about the new stroller; it is taller, it has a rain block and top, its wheels work. But i am curious as to why the new one reclines so much to begin with. My girls can all sit up very straight and are used to it, however i am excited that it can reline back into an almost completely laid down position. nap time should be much more comfortable for my 22 month old. yey.I will let you know how it works out. I hope we adjust the the differences with ease and my fear about those latches is unfounded. I hope. :-)

Expensive but worth it.
Best buy ever for my child. I used it for 2.5 yes for my older son. Now using it for my second son too. Strong and sturdy. Easy to clean and store. Excellent during local and international travels. Slightly on the expensive side but worth every penny.

Ideal for traveling!
Sturdy yet lightweight and compact, this stroller is ideal for travelling. Without the fuss and frills of many other prams, it contains everything one may need for their child- sun protection, rain protection, an adequate strapping mechanism so the baby doesn't slide to the side. The wheels and locking system are also of good quality.A couple of drawbacks- it has a small luggage space which can't store much. The sun roof invariably gets dirty when the stroller is rolled up because the wheels come in contact with it.However, at this price point, i would highly recommend this one for traveling.
