Put these up in my kids bathroom and they have been a great upgrade from what was there before. The free-stop cordless design is exactly what you want in a room children use on their own. No cords to deal with, no safety concern, and the kids can easily pull the shade to whatever height they want without it snapping back up or being difficult to adjust. The free-stop mechanism holds at any position, which is useful for a bathroom window where you might want partial coverage during the day and full coverage at night.Installation was straightforward. Everything needed was in the box and I had it up without any difficulty. The hardware feels solid and the bracket fit the window frame without any issues.The blackout fabric does its job. Nice shades. Easy install. Did not even really have to look at the instructions. It looks great on my back door. The door window has mini blinds between the panes of glass but it still let sin some light. When I want to block more light, these shades work just fine. There is some light around the edges but the material blocks light well. I was thinking about buying some for my house, but all the windows are just a little too wide or a little to narrow so I am not sure how it would fit. Either way, good value for the price. I would buy again. BTW, the width is the width of the whole assembly. The shades are about a half inch narrower on each side making the about an inch (total) narrower than the whole assembly.

Easy to install

Needed to replace old shades for a bedroom. These were a great buy. Easy to install, fit perfectly, and do well with keeping the room dark as needed and help with not letting cold air in in winter. Good quality. Nice to not have the cord. Have held up well so far.

Definitely a win. Blocks light like a BEAST. Instantly, significantly darker. Blocks/keeps in heat. Or just temperature regulation in general because it has helped in the winter and summer. It was pretty easy to install and very simple to use. It rolls smoothly and is longer than I use. It's a plane Jane standard look but it's clean enough it doesn't look cheap.

I really really really don't understand the rave reviews. These don't function like any roller shade I've ever used in my life. I thought I had some flukes or was dumb about adjusting. Then I watched the video reviews and saw the same bad function. They don't feel like they have any ratcheting pawl like every other roller drape I've ever touched. What I gather is the weight of the aluminum rod at the bottom holds them down, also meaning they don't self retract. You have to manually move it all the way up.Bad product. Returning and I never return anything. 100% do not reccomend buy the style without the aluminum weight.

If you’re one of those “sunlight is beautiful, it gives me energy” people, congratulations. You’re wrong, and this review is not for you. These blackout roller shades are for the rest of us... The cave dwellers, the gothic inspired, the gremlins, the people who see a sunny day and think, “Ugh, gross.”Installation? Easy AF. I’ve built IKEA furniture that ended with me questioning my will to live—this was the opposite. These blinds went up so fast I half-expected a medal ceremony at the end.And once they’re up? Darkness. It fills my heart with pain.... Pure, delicious, vampire-cave darkness. No sneaky little light beams creeping through like prison guards on night shift. My room went from “Pinterest board” to “Dracula’s AirBnB” in about 3 seconds.I bought them because sunlight is for losers. Who wants to wake up to chirping birds and Vitamin D when you could instead wake up at 2PM in a pitch-black room, confused about what century it is? Exactly.In short: if you hate happiness, flowers, and the very concept of day, these shades are your soulmate.

Good quality. As described

They are on the light (thinner) side as compared to my prior blinds which lasted 22 years. Nevertheless they will do the job. They work fine after adjusting the spring tension. Please note the plastic cap to uncover the adjusting screw slides out, I almost broke it as there are no instructions. Hope they will last.

After installing the first one (my learning process), installing the rest only got easier each window. In my old home my windows aren't level or square, as with everything else about our home. So, I kept a level handy so shades pull up and down unhindered.Happy with my purchase and the affordability.
