I have been using dish tv for more than 2 years and in these time period, I would like to high light advantage & disadvantage of your product.Advantage1. Recharge is least as compared to rivals.2.1st Installation is satisfactory.3.Complete product information.Disadvantages1. Durability is poor.2. Service charges are 5x of total monthly subscription.3.Poor co-ordination between service person & Customer4. Charges are levied on every minor fault.5.Hardware which is durable only up to 1-year warranty. After warranty is expired there is a frequent loss of hardware which service person ask to replace on every visit.6. Loss of signal is much frequent which reflects the quality of satellite network access to the customer. Also, less network coverage is present.(I have even replaced location to get better network coverage and also I had replaces the lens on antenna).7. Set up box & Card often gets damaged and it needs to be replaced down the line. (In my case I have to replace within 18 months).8.No reply on calls & mail.According to my perspective total cost for me to install dishtv is as follows,2 year recharge = Rs.7000/- approxA total number of service opted = 16 times.Total service charges paid which include hardware replacement = 1st year Rs.3000/- & 2nd year till date Rs.10,000/-Grand total = 7000 + 3000 + 10,000 = 20,000/- in two years.Now the basis of these you can decide.Thank you

Got DishNXT HD Premium, ordered from Porwal computers. Ordered on 10th Feb'18 at 8:00AM and technician installed DishNXT HD Premium at 1:00 PM same day.There is option of HDMI video setting in STB i.e 1080i@50hz, 1080p@60hz.The default setting of STB comes at 750p@50hz.If your is full HD then set HDMI video setting to 1080p@60hz or 1080i@50hz.The quality of HD is crystal clear. But the quality of SD channel is inferior wrt to other dth provider.Asked difference between nxtHD and nxtHD premium from the seller and dishtv customer care, both of them replied that PREMIUM NXT HD contains LNB is of monoblock type ( dual LNB in single LNB) and is capable of recieving 67 number of true HD channel while nxt HD STB has capability of recieving only 17 HD channel.The only query that I do not get answer from customer care is why transponder TP23 ( 11750MHz @ 29500kbps ) is showing 0 signal strength and 0 signal quality and what channel is from this transponder?Rest everything is best and got everything as mentioned in amazon site by seller.

I do not have any complaint with the product, but, I am unhappy with the installation process. Although the installation done on the 2nd day of purchase, the dish antenna was not installed properly, resulting in HD channels were not coming during the Free subscription period, although I have purchased Dish TV HD. I understand after one month that this is due to wrong installation of the Dealer, who has installed HD receiver. This has deprived me of viewing HD channels during the free subscription period. Hence, please ensure that the dealer install the correct product in future. Other than this, I have no complaints and Amazon is very quick in responding to my requests after installation of this product.
