All of my Sherlock Holmes coins are real, from a royal Mint sealed bag. I don’t understand why anybody would be asking otherwise? It seems by previous questions that some have an unrealistic value of this coin which might explain why there might be a question “are they real?”

Q: Is this uncirculated? The two middle pictures look like grubby coins found in spare change!

The coins are classed as 'uncirculated' . They are NOT 'brilliant uncirculated' ,as in BU coins though. Uncirculated coins are clean with a nice lustre, but will usually have minor blemishes, as although they have never been in general circulation, they will have clashed against other coins during the minting process & whilst they were stored in a bag with other coins. BU coins are free of blemishes ,but will of course have a higher price tag

Q: what's the difference between the circulated and uncirculated? I've got a few of these that i've picked up in my change

The uncirculated ones have came straight from a bank and have not passed through general circulation ,hence they would usually be in a better cosmetic condition for someone who likes to collect coins. Apart from that they are the same coins if you're lucky enough to get some in your change

Q: Why is this soooo cheap? It is worth £795

I doubt it's worth that much, unless you're talking about a "BRILLIANT uncirculated" one which these are not as they are basic uncirculated coins that may have marks. Or possibly they did special silver or gold ones as was done with the David Bowie coin.
